As of May 31, 13,806 fuel cell cars were sold and leased in the US, 66 fuel cell buses are in operation in California, 76 FCEBs are in development and 56 hydrogen stations are available.

Although hydrogen is the best of fuels by many measures, it is also the worst of fuels when it comes to storage and transport.
