THURSDAY, APRIL 25 AT 12:00PM EDT. Join the second of two H2IQ Hour webinars this month celebrating Earth Day on Thursday, April 25, at 12 p.m. EDT for an overview of the Hydrogen Education for a Decarbonized Economy (H2EDGE) initiative. Members from the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) will highlight efforts to prepare the emerging hydrogen industry workforce through a combination of professional development activities and targeted instruction at the university level.
This session will be led by H2EDGE team members from EPRI: Eladio Knipping, program manager, Krystal York, engineer, and Ashley Roberts, senior technical lead.
This webinar will provide an overview of the initiative's progress, including short-course program development and the creation of an Affiliate University Network; ongoing work with partner universities to identify academic and professional gaps; and a preview of upcoming activities focusing on hydrogen workforce development.
The H2IQ Hour will include a 45-minute live presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. A recording of the H2IQ Hour will be available on HFTO's website after the event.
