Thank you for participating in the first quarterly update on the progress of hydrogen stations in California. The presentation file can be found in the downloads section of CaFCP's website at http://cafcp.org/downloads and the recording from the webinar is posted on CaFCP's YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dc4Qbp65hlc. We’re working on the Q&A from the session and will post answers on our blog over the coming days.
Below are links to resources mentioned during the webinar:
- CaFCP station map at www.cafcp.org/stationmap. Click the Download button at the bottom left of the screen to download a PDF of stations. We update this list weekly, usually on Friday.
- SOSS (Station Operational Status System) is at m.cafcp.org. This is a mobile friendly website accessible from any web browser on any device.
- The two reports we referenced are the Air Resources Board’s 2015 Annual Evaluation of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Deployment and Hydrogen Fuel Station Network Development at http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/zevprog/ab8/ab8_report_2015.pdf and the California Energy Commission and Air Resource Board’s Joint Agency Staff Report on Assembly Bill 8: Assessment of Time and Cost Needed to Attain 100 Hydrogen Refueling Stations in California at http://cafcp.org/sites/default/files/CEC_ARB_Joint_Staff_Report.pdf (The Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology program funds alternative fuels, including hydrogen. Many people call the program “AB 8” in reference to the assembly bill that authorized the funding.)
- The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) provides resources to California cities to understand the hydrogen station permitting process. The Hydrogen Permitting Guidebook is at https://business.ca.gov/Programs/Permits/HydrogenStationPermitting.aspx
- The table of priority locations is in the Energy Commission’s draft solicitation concept at http://www.energy.ca.gov/altfuels/notices/2015-08-13-14_workshop/draft_solicitation_concepts.pdf. The station location priority areas are subject to change in the actual solicitation.
- A short community readiness checklist is on the CaFCP website at http://cafcp.org/sites/default/files/H2%20Community%20Readiness.pdf
